Determining functionals for a class of second order in time evolution equations with applications to von Karman equations
Abstract
In this paper we present a general approach to construction of determining functionals for second order in time evolution equations with nonlinear damping. As an example we consider von Karman evolution equations which describe nonlinear oscillations of an elastic plate. © 2003 by Springer Science+Business Media New York.
