Erythrocyte measurements of diploid and triploid Ctenopharyngodon idella×Hypophthalmichthys nobilis hybrids
Abstract
Diploid and triploid hybrids resulted when grass carp, Ctenopharyngodon idella, and big‐head carp, Hypophthalmichthys nobilis, were experimentally hybridized. Erythrocyte size can be used to distinguish C. idella×H. nobilis hybrids of different ploidies. Copyright © 1983, Wiley Blackwell. All rights reserved
