Optimal boundary feedback control of high intensity focused ultrasound processes

Abstract

Optimal control problem governed by an acoustic equation with thermal relaxation is considered. Questions of boundary stabilizability and feedback on line control are investigated. On line control is implemented by Gain Feedback based on nonstandard Riccati equation with unbounded coefficients. While optimal control problems with smooth controls have been considered in the recent literature, [17], our new challenge is to consider 'rough controls' with L2 forcing which then lead to non-smooth optimization problem and non-standard Riccati equations.
