Remarks on linear selections for the metric projection
Abstract
The aim of this paper is to give a characterization of the finite-dimensional subspaces of Lp, 1 ≤ p < ∞, and C0(T) whose metric projections admit linear selections. The paper also gives a characterization of finite co-dimensional subspaces of l1 and c0 whose metric projections have linear selections. © 1985.
