RITZ GALERKIN APPROXIMATION OF TIME OPTIMAL BOUNDARY (DIRICHLET) CONTROL PROBLEM.
Abstract
Ritz Galerkin approximation of time-optimal boundary control problem with Dirichlet boundary conditions, is considered. Convergence of optimal controls as well as optimal rate of convergence for corresponding trajectory has been proved. An approximation using subspaces without boundary conditions is also discussed.
