Unveiling the mechanism of highly-efficient nonlinear responses from film-coupled plasmonic structures
Abstract
We investigate the mechanism of highly efficient nonlinear responses from dielectric materials in a tiny gap of less than 7 nm between a gold film and metallic nanostructures, which offers potential for on-chip nonlinear devices.
