Journalist Mark Ethridge’s diplomatic missions in post-world war ii Europe: The making of a cold warrior
Abstract
Mark Ethridge, publisher of the Louisville Courier Jourrnal, served as a diplomatic troubleshooterfor the Truman administration in post-World War II Europe: in 1945 as a special investigator in the Soviet-dominated Balkan countries of Bulgaria and Romania and in 1947 as U.S. delegate on the United Nations Commission of Investigation Concerning Greek Frontier Incidents.
