In this feature, we highlight how University of Memphis graduate students thrive through innovation, community, and real-world impact. Inspired by Dean Deborah Tollefsen’s reflection on rethinking how we value graduate education, it underscores the importance of recognizing student contributions. Events like the Graduate Student Appreciation Lunch, the LeMoyne-Owen College Beyond College Fair, and the “Innovate, Create, Launch” webinar support growth, while Memphis’ vibrant spring events offer opportunities for connection and inspiration beyond the classroom.
