A marker is unveiled at the site of the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at the Lorraine Motel, Memphis, Tennessee, on May 3, 1968. Mrs. Coretta Scott King and Dr. King's brother, Rev. A.D.W. King, are at left with the marker and Southern Christian Leadership Conference head Rev. Ralph Abernathy speaks at right.
