Report by Captain Joseph V. De La Hunt of the flood relief work undertaken by the U.S. Steamer Augustine in the St. Francis River Basin, Parkin, Arkansas, and Natchez, Mississippi, between April 17 and June 4, 1927. De La Hunt took the opportunity to express his opinion on the state of the levee system, which he blamed for silting up the Mississippi River.

S.S. Mohawk Radiogram, 1927
On-board newsletter titled "The Radiogram" produced on the S.S. Mohawk, sailing between Jacksonville, Florida, Charleson, South Carolina, and New York City, July 1-3, 1927. The newsletter was edited by Chief Wireless Operator Clarence B. De La Hunt.
The S.S. Mohawk was launched in 1925 for the Clyde Steamship Company and operated as a passenger ship between Florida and New York and also to Galveston and the Caribbean. It could carry 446 passengers. The ship sank after a collision near New York in 1935 with the loss of 47 passengers and crew.
