    Description

Opened in 1913 at 272 S. Main, the Hotel Chisca was named for a Chickasaw Indian chief who lived in the area. When it was completed it was the largest hotel in Memphis. While it was known for being a more middle-class accommodation, the hotel was unique in that they also provided rheumatism treatments and Turkish Baths.
