Abstract
Short report that the earthquake of January 23, 1812 was felt at Frankfort, Louisville, Washington, Georgetown and Paris(all in Kentucky). At some places it was represented as being stronger than the December 16, 1811 earthquake.
Transcript
The Earthquake noticed in our last, was felt about the same time on Thursday morning, at Frankfort, Louisville, Washington, Georgetown, Paris, and at every other place that we have heard from. At some of those places it is represented as being more violent than the one noticed on the 16th December.
