Abstract
Short article that suggests that a building be torn down due to the earthquake damaging them to the point of them falling. The location was on Broad street and the building had been previously damaged by fire.
Transcript
A correspondent suggests to the City Police, the propriety of ordering the Walls of the burnt buildings, at the bottom of Broad street, to be pulled down. The frequent repetitions of the Earthquakes may have loosened their cohesion so as to endanger the lives of passengers in the street. The next shock may, perhaps, demolish them.
