Report that refutes damage reports at Natchez, Mississippi. “There are strong reasons for believing that the report via Abbeville, of the destruction of the Town of Natchez, by Earthquake, it totally without foundation. We saw a letter this morning from that place, post marked the 24th ult. which is entirely silent on the subject.”
