In our preceding columns will be found a detailed and tolerably well authenticated account of the effects of the late Earthquakes to the west ward-particularly, at a place known by the name of the Little Praire on the Mississippi river. The loss sustained by the inhabitants, and damage done to the circumjacent country, appears to have been considerable.
