Abstract
Felt report for aftershock of the December 16, 1811 earthquake at Charleston, South Carolina. “a slight shock was felt at 11 o’clock Monday evening and another yesterday at 20 minutes after 12. They continued a few seconds. We have now had six of these awful visitations in tow days.” Night of December 16 and December 17.

EARTHQUAKE. A slight shock was felt at 11 o'clock on Monday evening, and another yesterday at 20 minutes after 12. They continued but a few seconds. We have now had six of these awful visitations in two days. Errata, in our account of the Earthquake in yesterday's Courier, for 03 45 the height of the Barometer, read 30 45.
