Felt report for an earthquake the evening of February 7, 1812 at New Orleans. Time of the earthquake was “ a few minutes after ten o'clock.” p. m. ( local time) Duration was between 40 and 50 seconds.

On Friday night last, a few minutes after ten o'clock, another shock of an Earthquake was felt in this city-the trembling continued 40 or 50 seconds.
