Abstract

Ghosts or Pollen is a collection of poems that grows around themes of environmental justice, climate change, toxic masculinity, womanhood. The imageric invective and propulsive poetics of social commentary throughout illuminate the paralleling patriarchal exploitations of women and the Earth. The Earth is the spotlit speaker throughout, giving voice to the mother of humanity.
