Description

This is a document that has short descriptions of Peace Corps activities in various countries and then a few pages for facts about the Peace Corps program in a question and answer format. There is an introduction, written by Sargent Shriver, that describes the Peace corps and its volunteers.

The countries mentioned in this document are Ghana, Tanganyika (the modern United Republic of Tanzania), Nigeria, Colombia, Chile, St. Lucia, Philippines, India, Pakistan, Thailand, Malaya, and Sierra Leone. Each country gets two pages that have a map, a photograph, and a few paragraphs about the Peace Corps programs and volunteer training.

The question and answer section at the end deal with common and frequently asked questions about the Peace Corps. This includes questions about the draft, if a college degree is necessary, pay, qualification requirements, and more.
