In this October Volume 2, we spotlight the hidden engine of innovation at R1 universities—the graduate students who power discovery at the University of Memphis. At UofM, their work drives progress across disciplines—from groundwater conservation at CAESER and earthquake forecasting at CERI to sustainable agriculture at ACRE. Each project reflects the creativity, dedication, and discovery that define graduate research.
