Abstract
This study highlights the monthly accounting process of a local retail music company. In the city of Memphis, music is exalted as a cultural phenomenon. Being a world renowned city for music, Memphis is home to one of the largest retail music dealers in the Mid-South. Through effective procedures and careful execution, the accounting department in a retail music store can help supply the city with this same cultural vibe. This study exemplifies what a retail music store is like in its current industry.
