Description
Side B of an ethnomusicological field recording tape of the Jackson State and Tennessee State bands at the Liberty Bowl in Memphis during the Southern Heritage Classic, 1990-09-08. The first twenty minutes or so of Side B have an extremely low recording level, for unknown reasons. It was raining during the game, and the recording device may have been placed in a pocket, or carried into the roofed concourse of the stadium to avoid water damage.
