Description
The Otha Turner Boys, led by Otha Andre Evans, are one of only two regularly performing fife and drum bands, and one of only three known to exist in the United States at present. They, along with the Rising Star Fife and Drum Band and the Hurt Family Fife and Drum Band, continue a Black music legacy that once was widespread not only in Mississippi but in a niumber of Southern states. Como Park, Como, Mississippi, 2026-09-19.
