Abstract

Roger Kreuz is a Professor of Psychology and an Associate Dean in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Memphis. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Toledo, and earned his masters and doctoral degrees at Princeton University. In his research and writing, he has explored a variety of phenomena that revolve around language and communication. With Richard Roberts, he is the coauthor of two books: Becoming fluent: How Cognitive Science can Help Adults Learn a Foreign Language and Getting Through: The Pleasures and Perils of Cross-cultural Communication (both published by The MIT Press).
