Description
Photographic postcard of Julia Hooks presented to Anna Wright Church at Christmas. Message on the back says: "May your xmas bring you the bessings which you gracious kindness deserves. Yours Lovingly Julia." Mrs. Hooks, known as the "Angel of Beale Street", was a musician, educator, social worker and civil rights activist.
