Two carte de visites featuring young women. The first two images are the front and back of a carte de visite featuring Lavania Black, also known as "Vinnie." Miss Black was raised by the Pearson family from New Jersey from a young age.; The back of the carte de visite has the following inscribed, "Lavania Black Sept. 19__1883 June 30__1869." The explanation of this inscription is unknown.; The second carte de visite features the daughter of the family that raised Lavania Black. She is identified as Eva Louise Pearson.
