Description

Ground-breaking ceremony for the West Hall for Men (currently Carney-Johnston Hall) on the campus of Lambuth College, Jackson, Tennessee about the time is was completed in 1967. The building in the background is the Memorial Chapel - Fine Arts Building (currently R.E. Womack Memorial Chapel). Pictured from left to right are Lambuth College President, Dr. James S. Wilder, Jr.; Dr. John R. Thompson; Cooper Barnett; Dean W.K. Whetstone; Bill Rudolph; Dr. Paul Lyles, and Mr. Charles Stanfill.
