Description

Andrew Wills was born near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and served in the 15th Pennsylvania Cavalry during the Civil War, being promoted to Lieutenant Colonel. He was a lawyer, Postmaster (1889-1893, 1898-1914) and a claims agent in Nashville. He was Commissioner General of the Tennessee Centennial Exhibition at Nashville in 1897, and delegate to the Republican National Convention in 1900.
