Description

Parkway Artesian Water Pumping Station at 488 North Dunlap Street, Memphis, Tennessee, undated. Built in the 1920s on the corner of Dunlap and North Parkway for Memphis Light, Gas and Water, and later renamed the Mallory Pumping Station, the ground water treatment plant is the oldest in Shelby County. Images of the laboratory and pumps are included. Photographer: Poland.
