Description

Night crew of the Ford Motor Company assembly plant in Memphis, Tennessee, photographed on February 17, 1937 by Sessions. The nearly 400,000 square feet factory at Riverside and South Parkway designed by Albert Kahn was built in 1924 to replace the plant at 495 Union that opened in 1913, and operated until 1958.
