Description
The cast of the play "The Butter and Egg Man", written by George Kaufman in 1925, performing at the Little Theatre, Memphis, Tennessee, in 1928. The cast included Lawrence Powell, Virginia Pittman, Herbert Dunkman, Helen Lochrie, John C. Ottinger, Jr., Mary Pelham, W. Lorence, Ben Goodman, Jr., Jane Anderson, Juliet Halliburton, D. Kingsbury Fentress, George Harsh, Jr., and H.B. Hart, Jr. The Little Theatre's first permanent home from 1925 to 1929 was a former stable at 690 Jefferson.
