Description
The Bethany Training Home at 901 Chelsea Avenue in Memphis, Tennessee, was a home care facility for unwed mothers. It maintained the women's privacy and also facilitated adoptions. Unlike other similar facilities, the Bethany Home also provided the women with job training and follow up casework.
