Interior of a Mr. Bowers' Stores, Inc. premises, date and location unidentified (Memphis, Tennessee; 1900s). Photographer: Gaston Park Studio (D.A. Denison), 1128 Rayburn Boulevard, Memphis.

One of more than 30 grocery stores in the city owned by Duke Cayce Bowers (1874-1917) by the mid-1910s who used the slogan: "You won't get bit if you buy of Mr. Bowers" written next to a muzzled dog.
