Description

Sandbags being filled at the corner of Second and Main Street in North Little Rock, Arkansas, to protect against the flooding of the Arkansas River in May 1927. The serious flooding in Arkansas was part of the greater flooding that affected the states on the Mississippi River that year. Underwood & Underwood, 242 West 55th Street, New York, N.Y.
