Aerial view looking east from Arkansas towards Memphis, Tennessee, of the Memphis and Arkansas Bridge under construction across the Mississippi River, circa 1946. The Harahan Bridge (left) and Frisco Bridge can also be seen. Construction of the Memphis and Arkansas Bridge began in September 1945 and was completed in 1949.
