Description
Copy of a studio portrait of the children of Moses Plough, Memphis, Tennessee, circa 1901. Left-right: Alfred, Barney, Abe, Sam, Morris and Clara. Abe Plough (1891-1984) started the Plough Chemical Company in 1908 making patent medicines and later cosmetics. His company evolved into Plough, Inc., and then Schering-Plough Corporation, a major pharmaceutical company.
