Description

Sternwheel steamboat "Princess" moored at Memphis, Tennessee, with Mud Island and the Mississippi River in the background, undated (1910s). Built in 1896 as the "H.W. Buttorff", the boat was bought by the Lee Line in 1911 and renamed "John Lee". Later that decade it was renamed "Princess" to become an excursion boat. It was scrapped in 1934.
