Description
Sternwheel steamboat "Eclipse" at Memphis, Tennessee, with Mud Island and the Mississippi River in the background, undated (1910s). Built as the "City of St. Joseph" in 1901, it was bought by the Lee Line which changed its name to "Eclipse" in 1916. The boat hit a snag opposite Osceola, Arkansas, in 1925 and was lost.
