Mr. Bowers' Stores, Inc., No. 27 at 120 S. Wellington Street, Memphis, Tennessee, undated (1900s).
One of more than 30 stores in the city owned by Duke Cayce Bowers (1874-1917) by the mid-1910s with the slogan on the outside wall: "You won't get bit if you buy of Mr. Bowers" next to a muzzled dog.
