Description
View of Overton Park in Memphis, Tennessee, taken by prominent photographer J.C. Coovert in 1910. The panoramic photograph shows a photographer in the foreground with the Pavilion and Clara Conway Pergola to the right. Both of these structures were destroyed in a 1936 storm. Some of the flowers and the sky in the image have been hand-colored.
