Description
Thomas F. Gailor Memorial Hospital at 42 S. Dunlap Street, Memphis, Tenn., 1958. Opened in 1942 as an intensive, short-term treatment facility for the mentally ill, it was the first hospital of its kind in the city. Gailor closed in 1960 and became an outpatient clinic.
