Handwritten detail of Halloween night celebrated by Mabel Wagner and friends in 1906. She starts by saying it was one of the happiest night of her life. She says who's houses she visited and names the friends who joined her along the way.
Handwritten poem from Mabel Wagner to John Wilson Hilliard titled "If you cared for me". A note from Mabel at the end of the poem states that it was "Written before 1909 after one of our misunderstandings." A later note from Mabel's daughter, Marguerite, says the poem was likely copied as her mother "never once wrote poetry in the 66 years she knew her".
