Description
The Memphis Speech and Hearing Center at 807 Jefferson Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee, dedicated on November 17, 1963. Funded by Tennessee state, the City of Memphis, Shelby County, the Junior League and other charities, the center was administered by Memphis State University from September 1, 1967. The center was relocated to the Community Health Building on the University of Memphis' Park Avenue campus in 2015.
