Description
Memphis State University President Dr. Cecil C. Humphreys (left) with R. M. Hunt, the Divisional Communications Manager for the Southern Bell Telephone Company, in Humphreys' office in June 1967. They are holding the new edition of the Memphis telephone directory that features a copy of a painting of the MSU campus by art professor Peter Thomas that is behind the men. The painting can also be found in the digital repository (ID: sc.ua.uhist.os_002.001).
