Description
The Collins Chapel Hospital, at the corner of Lane and Ayers, was owned and operated by the Christian Methodist Church in Memphis. Not only was it a hospital for black patients, but it provided space for black doctors and nurses to practice. It closed following the end of segregation in Memphis.
