A December 1938 photograph of the William R. Moore School of Technology located at 1200 Poplar Avenue in Memphis, Tennessee. He later was a U.S. Congressman and Tennessee legislator. His estate, and that of his wife, were used to pay for the land and for construction of the school which opened in 1939.
