Description
Built in 1896, Russwood Park (also known as Russwood Bottoms, Elm Wood Park, and Red Elm Park) was the home of the Memphis Turtles baseball team, then later the Memphis Chicks baseball team. Aside from baseball games, other events were held there such as concerts and boxing matches. It burned down on April, 17 1960. The owners never rebuilt.
