Description
Aerial view of Kennedy Veterans Hospital at the corner of Park Avenue (along the top) and Getwell Road (along the left). Built in 1942 on a 120 acre parcel of land and closed in 1967, the Kennedy VA was the largest army hospital in the country. After closure, the land was deeded to the Memphis State University as its South Campus location.
