Description
Brinkley Female College moved into the mansion at 683 S. 5th Street in 1866. They were forced to close in 1871 after a series of weird occurrences that the public deemed hauntings. In 1930, the building was divided into apartments and in 1970 was sold and eventually dismantled to be moved to Jonesboro, Arkansas. The photograph was taken in July 1972.
