Postcard of Mynders Hall, West Tennessee State Normal School, 1919
Postcard with a color image of Mynders Hall, the women's dormitory at West Tennessee State Normal School, postmarked October 7, 1919. The postcard is addressed to Miss Sarah Culbreath in Covington, Tennessee, and was probably written by her sister Dell Culbreath who had just started classes at the school that year. It reads: "Dear little sis:- Got your sweet little letter a few days past. Of course, I wasn't mad at you. You must write to me soon. This is the picture of the house where I live. I am in my room now. Tell everybody at school "hello". Don't write any more Lula(?) says." Dell's sister Lula was apparently staying with her. Dell's room in Mynders is marked on the photograph.
